Committee on Information and Communication Technology
This is a a project of the newly formed ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Committee of the City of Cadiz under the Chairmanship of Councilor Owen Desuyo.
This is formed mainly to show the capabilities of a Paperless System in making the Sangguniang Panlungsod lives a little easier and convenient. Having be able to approve, comment, make changes, collect and have an easy retrieval of the documents anytime and anywhere in the world.
The system also allows an eco-friendly way to maintain and keep the documents available for public access. The system is also so designed that any computer or system with a browser can access this paperless system. The system also automatically adjusts as a Mobile Application for Mobile Smartphones and Tablets like iOS (Apple Devices like iPhone, iPad, etc), Android, Nokia, Blackberry and other Operating Systems.
According to Councilor Jun Musa as Co-Chairman of the ICT Committee, it is now presented as a public Gateway as well as the Private hub of the Sangguniang Panlungsod to manage, edit, collate and make changes to the latest documents as well as serve as an archive of the older ones.
Under a new ordinance, this system will hopefully be approved to run with the times and carry over the modernization of the systems in Cadiz City as per so ordered by the DILG. In compliance with Good Governance and Government Transparency, we humbly present to you this project.
It is right to say that at this time, the system is done, the technology is available and only the formation of a relative ICT Department to help in managing the data as well as the continuing maintenance, upload and synchronization of the system not only of this project, but as well as the Technology Equipment of the City Government of Cadiz.
Members of the Information and Communication Technology, Councilors Vicente William Tabanao, Antonio U. Lacson, III and Sixto Teofilo Roxas Y. Guanzon are the first to invite you to explore the system, learn and improve from it, and make the system the platform for all the future paperless systems plans of Cadiz City.
Under a simple privilege speech, the project was presented and approved by the committee for a trial and application. Right now being developed and collated in record time under limited budget and in under 2 weeks. System was done in under a week, and now on the process of collecting and posting data for Public Use. System Panel for the Sangguniang Panlungsod is fully-operational, pending the training and briefing of the personnel on how to make use and manage the system.
